This year marks the 70th anniversary of the start of the Holocaust in Hungary.
From March 16 to March 18, Florida Gulf Coast University’s Center for Judaic, Holocaust, and Genocide Studies is hosting a conference called "The Holocaust in Hungary, 70 Years On: New Perspectives."
Paul Bartrop is a history professor and Director of the Center for Judaic, Holocaust, and Genocide Studies. He told WGCU’s Topher Forhecz elements of the Nazi occupation of Hungary are still debated to this day.
