“The Bridges of Madison County” is based on the best-selling novel by Jason Robert Brown and 1995 film starring Meryl Streep and Clint Eastwood. It was developed into a musical by Tony Award-winner Jason Robert Brown (“The Last Five Years,” “Parade,” “Songs for a New World”) and Pulitzer Prize-winner Marsha Norman. Southwest Florida Theatre's production features a classic story, stellar cast and gorgeous music.

Southwest Florida Theatre Producer Andrew Kurtz had the idea and the company’s Musical Director Julie Beardon Carver did the rest. The result is a holiday musical set in the magical town of Grimmville.

“Howl at the Moon” is a one-night-only Broadway cabaret where the ghosts of the Great White Way come out to play. “We're going to play some scary and creepy and spooky TV and movie themes that people will recognize,” said Southwest Florida Theatre Music Director Julie Beardon Carver.
