Naples International Film Festival

The 2026 Naples International Film Festival is set to take place October 22nd through the 25th at Alamo Drafthouse Cinema in the Mercato. Artis—Naples is inviting filmmakers to submit work in five categories: Narrative Features, Documentary Features, Short Films, Student Filmmaker Showcase K through 12 and its College/University Student Filmmaker Showcase.

The 17th annual Naples International Film Festival will feature 60 films, filmmaker panel discussions, and a special performance by the Naples Philharmonic Orchestra. We get a preview of the festival with producers David Filner and Shannon Franklin. We also talk with Mark Craig about his documentary film “Apollo 1,” which will have its Florida premiere at the festival.

We’ll explore the 13th Annual Naples International Film Festival which runs Oct. 21-24 with Artis-Naples Executive Vice President David Filner and two filmmakers whose work will be screened.

The 12th annual Naples International Film Festival kicks off Thursday evening with an opening night gala and outdoor film screening of the multi-award winning documentary “The Donut King” by filmmaker Alice Gu. The film tells the story of a Cambodian refugee who came to the U.S. in 1975 amid the genocide of more than two million people under Marxist leader Pol Pot, and managed to become a millionaire in three years. We’ll talk with the filmmaker.
