In Manatee County, officials plan to announce a few public shelter openings at 1:00 p.m. Friday. Locations will include school district campuses, three of which are planned to be pet friendly.
Manatee County Public Works staff will be distributing sandbags Friday and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at four locations including:
Bennett Park, 400 Cypress Creek Blvd., Bradenton
Bradenton Area Convention Center, 1 Haben Blvd., Bradenton
G.T. Bray Park, 5502 33rd Ave Dr. W., Bradenton
Lakewood Ranch Park, 5530 Lakewood Ranch Blvd., Bradenton
