FGCU student creates ‘pseudo-underwater’ experience for Florida’s landlocked thrill-seekers

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission has helped place over 4,500 artificial reefs throughout the state of Florida. One FGCU student is looking to bring landlocked thrill-seekers to the depths of one of the more popular scuba destinations with an immersive pseudo-underwater experience. WGCU’s Pam James has her story.

An opening reception takes place April 9th in tandem with a performance by the Marco Island Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Marco Island Historical Society Reenactors of an original play titled “Founding Mothers.”
