South Florida's First Gay Nuptials Expo

This summer, Miami-Dade, Monroe, Broward and Palm Beach Counties declared Florida’s gay marriage ban unconstitutional. Those back-to-back court rulings sparked South Florida’s first Gay Nuptials Expo this past weekend in Broward County.

He is concerned about the interpretation of a memo dated Sept. 11 from the Florida Education Commissioner, who cited Florida law in stating that an employee can be disciplined if their personal conduct, upon investigation, reduces their professional effectiveness.
