“Oasis of Notions” is a solo show of oil paintings by Paul Vincenti that creates a veritable jungle of orchids, bamboo, wild ginger and other plants, with a smattering of hummingbirds and butterflies.
Vincenti’s career spans more than 40 years. The Orlando-based artist is also a professional photographer, magazine editor, art instructor, composer and filmmaker.

The gallery is open to the public from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays.
The Performing Arts Center Gallery in the Round is located at 10150 Bonita Beach Road. The exhibition is on view through July 31.

Since his first shows in the late 1970s to the present, Paul Vincenti has exhibited at top art festivals, conventions and galleries across the country, winning many awards and accolades along the way.

Vincenti's travels have taken him from Spain to Hawaii and many points in between.
He has composed a rock opera, produced and directed a short film, and is considered a pioneer of face and body painting.
