Florida Emergency Management Director Kevin Guthrie resigned Tuesday, one day after becoming Lt. Gov. Jay Collins’ running mate in his run for governor. Gov. Ron DeSantis said he wished Guthrie luck, but politics and emergency management don’t mix and he accepted his resignation.
