Lists of Former Felon Non-Voters to be Distributed

The Florida Secretary of State's office says it will soon be sending out lists to county elections offices of former felons who are ineligible to vote because they have not paid all fines and restitution associated with their sentencing. But the AP reports, voting rights groups are critical of the move, saying it's an attempt by Governor Ron DeSantis to create confusion before the November 3rd election.

County election offices will still have to notify impacted voters, which could take about two months.
