Vote Count Continues in Florida

The state of Florida has yet to be called in this year's presidential election, and it's all because of what has happened in the state's largest county, Miami Dade, which has yet to finish counting the vote after many voters waited in line for hours to cast their ballots.

Miami Dade Mayor Carlos Gimenez says he plans to call on Governor Scott to extend early voting and make more sites available for it.

"That was unacceptable to me that the waits were way too far, and we've got to get some answers as to what happened, why, why wasn't it foreseen", said Gimenez.

Elections officials in Miami Dade hope to finish counting absentee ballots today. They say it's a long process because the signature of each voter has to be verified.

Eight other counties, including Broward and Palm Beach, are also still counting ballots.
