Sandra Moon has been serving since January as interim executive director of the Visual Arts Center in Punta Gorda. The center’s board of directors has voted unanimously to make that appointment permanent.
“In just a few short months, Sandra has demonstrated exceptional leadership, clarity of vision, and a strong connection to our mission,” said board president Rose Askew-Hergenham.
Moon’s leadership experience in nonprofit management and cultural programming together with her previous work with museums, arts organizations, and community initiatives made her an indispensable part of the Visual Arts Center’s future.
