All lanes of Estero Boulevard in Fort Myers Beach were closed Thursday morning due to a gas leak.
The Lee County Sheriff's Office said all lanes inn the 6400 block of the boulevard were shut down.
The Sheriff's Office said the roadway would be closed for the next few hours and urged motorists to avoid the area, and, if possible, seek an alternate route.
