Tropical Depression 11 has formed into Tropical Storm Josephine today in the Atlantic Ocean. It's the earliest occurrence of a "J" storm in history. The next earliest 10th storm of the season was Tropical Storm Jose on August 22, 2005. Josephine is forecasted to stay offshore and not pose a threat to the United States.
