Protests in Charlotte, North Carolina turned violent last night, following the fatal police shooting of a black man.
Keith Lamont Scott, 43, was shot by a black officer at an apartment complex. Sixteen officers were hurt in the protests. Police said Scott was armed, and that a handgun was recovered, but his family said he was not armed.
