Florida’s 2015 legislative session came to a close last week following an early adjournment of the House. Due to a stalemate between the House and Senate over whether or not to expand Medicaid, lawmakers left Tallahassee with no budget in place, no resolution over Medicaid expansion, and priority bills on topics such as water quality and prison reform unaddressed.
