The legalities of Naples Pridefest

The show was still about to go on at this year’s Naples Pridefest. Less than 24 hours before the gates opened, the 11th Circuit Court ruled in favor of the City of Naples that forced the marquee event, the Drag Extravaganza, indoors as opposed to the main stage at Cambier Park. WGCU’s Eddie Stewart shows us how that didn’t slow down the celebration, before former ACLU of Florida Executive Director, Howard Simons, breaks down the legal battle that defines the difference between art and obscenity.
