6/1 TROPICAL OUTLOOK

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oDgQhgaeHYc

The 2014 Hurricane Season has begun and forecast models are already hinting at potential storm formation in the Gulf of Mexico by the end of the week. Long range data suggests an area of low pressure could form here and drift slowly northward in the direction of the United States. It is way too early to project with any confidence how strong this system might become or where it will track. But since this is an area where storms typically form this time of year, we will certainly be watching it closely over the coming days.
