Census: 1.3 Million More in Poverty in 2003

The U.S. Census Bureau releases new data that shows the number of Americans living in poverty rose last year by 1.3 million people.

The number of people living without health insurance also rose, to 1.4 million, according to the report. Hear NPR's Kathleen Schalch.
