Naples 'Proud Boy' Worrell still being sought by FBI; attorney has 'no idea' to his whereabouts
The FBI confirmed that a nationwide search remains in effect for Christopher John Worrell, a Naples man and a member of the 'Proud Boys' extremist group, who disappeared in August, days before his sentencing in the U.S. Capitol riot case, where prosecutors are seeking more than a decade in prison. The main legal representative for Worrell, Attorney William Lee Shipley, Jr.of Kailua, Hawaii, appeared on a cable network news show Monday night and said he has not heard from his client since before he vanished.
Abortion with no medical help? It nearly doubled in 2023, study shows
A study looks at the rate of self-managed abortion since Roe v. Wade fell. The study found that the use of mifepristone to self-manage abortion has nearly doubled from 6.6% in 2021 to 11.0% in 2023.

Lawmakers in Tallahassee said they never intended the new law to be used against fans storming football fields after a huge victory. Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis signed it in May.
