COVID-19 Morning Report
State Health officials reported a new single-day record high number of coronavirus-related deaths, Tuesday. The Florida Department of Health reported 276 deaths, Aug. 11, increasing the statewide death toll to 8,685 fatalities. The previous record was 257 deaths on July 31.The health department also reported another 5,831 new cases of COVID-19, Tuesday, bringing Florida's overall total to 542,792 cases.
