Data from the CDC shows that in the U.S., 42,211 women died from breast cancer in 2022. It’s the second leading cause of cancer death among women in the U.S., after lung cancer. According to the National Breast Cancer Foundation 1 in 8 women in the United States will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. A solo exhibition of works by Southwest Florida-based artist Spencer Elles opens Friday, June 4 at DAAS CO-OP Art Gallery & Gifts in downtown Fort Myers. Elles is a multi-talented queer artist, musician, digital illustrator and videographer. The exhibition titled, “uhhhh… I guess this is my art show or whatever.
