If you're planning to vote in this November's election, brace yourselves. The ballots in Florida this year are huge. The one in Hillsborough County is 6 pages long.
There are twelve candidates on the ballot running for president.
There are candidates for U.S. Senate, Congress, and the state legislature. There are judges, school board members and local referendums too.
But wait, there's more: 11 amendments to the state Constitution are also on the ballot.
Many of them are in legal jargon. Hillsborough Supervisor of Elections Earl Lennard suggests doing your homework ahead of time.
Lennard said, "It is up to each of the voters to study these proposed amendments to determine whether or not they feel comfortable voting one way or the other and or else not voting."
Lennard says folks can also request an absentee ballot or vote early. Early voting begins October twenty seventh.
