After finding James Holmes guilty of murdering 12 people and wounding 70 others in a Colorado movie theater, the jury must now decide on a penalty. They will return to the courtroom on Wednesday to begin what could be several weeks of testimony.
Prosecutors will remind the jury of the horrific pain and suffering experienced by the victims, survivors and their families. But defense attorneys will argue that Holmes was not mentally stable and does not deserve to be put to death.
