Forever Island

Author Patrick Smith is perhaps best known for his novel “A Land Remembered” which paints a vivid picture of Florida’s frontier history. This week, our book reviewer, Linda Fasulo pays tribute to Smith with a look at another of the author’s works of historical fiction. “Forever Island,” first published in 1973 and republished in 2012 tells the story of a Miccosukee Seminole and his fight to save Native American traditions and his home in the Big Cypress Swamp
