The big, silver StoryCorps Airstream rolled into Southwest Florida, Monday evening, February 12, 2024, and is ready to start the conversations rolling. Founded in 2003 as an independent nonprofit, the StoryCorps team has helped thousands of people have meaningful conversations about their lives. Most of which are collected in the U.S. Library of Congress and in their own online archive. The StoryCorps Mobile Tour is set up at The Alliance for the Arts along McGregor Boulevard starting now through March 15.

Oral History Booth in Grand Central Station
The StoryCorps interview booth in Grand Central Station. For ten dollars it is open to anyone who wants to record an interview, create an oral history or record a personal story. It is digitally recorded and each recording will be archived in the Library of Congress' National Archives. The project, dependent on grants and donations, was created by David Isay. You can record stories at home as part of the Great Thanksgiving Listen. Read below for more information. (ANDREW HOLBROOKE/Corbis via Getty Images / Corbis Historical)
