Rescan your TV on March 10

[vc_row 0=””][vc_column][vc_column_text 0=””]

By law, nearly 1,000 TV stations across the country are required to move frequencies to make room for wireless internet broadband services. On Tuesday, March 10 at noon, WGCU will move, too.

Other area TV stations will move frequencies at the same time.

That means that if you access WGCU HD, Create/Encore, World, the Florida Channel and PBS Kids 24/7 over the air (via antenna), you will need to rescan all of the televisions in your home to find all the available channels in our area. Because all stations in the Fort Myers/Naples area are changing on the same day, you may only need to rescan your TV once.

There are no new equipment purchases or services required.

Come back to this page for more information as the rescanning date approaches.
