Don’t leave Covid-19 out of storm plans

Former director of the National Hurricane Center Max Mayfield reminds Floridians that this year’s hurricane season requires dual preparation – for both storms and Covid-19.

For example, your family plan should include packing face masks as well as important papers into a bag that’s ready to take along if you need to evacuate.

A meteorologist, Mayfield served as the highest ranking hurricane voice from 2000 to 2007.
