WGCU, along with The News-Press and Naples Daily News, opened a virtual town hall on TV, radio, online, and Facebook Live over a span of two days in August.

Titled “Back to School,” it examined the reasoning behind scheduling schools to open for face-to-face and/or online education. Masks? Social distancing? Temperature monitoring? Are these things possible? Are these measures enough? Too much? Click the link below to watch.

WGCU, along with The News-Press and Naples Daily News, will open a virtual town hall on TV, radio, online and Facebook Live over a span of two days in August.

Titled “Back to School,” it will examine the reasoning behind scheduling schools to open for face-to-face and/or online education. Masks? Social distancing? Temperature monitoring? Are these things possible? Are these measures enough? Too much?

Moderators will be Julie Glenn, WGCU’s news director, and Mark Bickel, audience development director for The News-Press.

The town hall will air on WGCU-TV, WGCU-FM, news-press.com and naplesnews.com from 9 to 10 p.m. Monday. Then on Tuesday, go to Facebook at 7 p.m. to see and hear some of your questions answered.
