National Geographic Changes Hands, Raising Questions About Coverage

National Geographic Magazine, along with its book, map and other media assets, were sold to a partnership headed by 21st Century Fox this week for more than $700 million dollars.

NPR’s David Folkenflik talks with Here & Now Meghna Chakrobarti about how the move raises questions about the sustainability of not-for-profit journalism. He also addresses Fox owner Rupert Murdoch’s doubts of climate change and whether the magazine’s content will shift.
