Lake Okeechobee & Everglades Restoration

We’ll talk to those who use Lake Okeechobee and those who regulate it to find out the status of the threats to and restoration efforts within the largest freshwater lake in Florida. Threats include excess nutrients, water levels and nuisance vegetation. Restoration efforts include programs to mitigate high and low water levels, nutrient issues and water quality.

Also, how far we’ve come yet how far we have to go to replumb the Everglades.
