This Wednesday marks one year since the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. We’ll look at what remains stuck on the bottom of the Gulf, what scientists say they’ve found drifting in the Gulf, including a toxic blob, and what research is ongoing regarding the spill. Is BP’s spill compensation czar correct? Will nearly all be well by 2012? Plus there’s already an attempt to place a referendum on Florida’s 2012 ballot to ban near-shore oil drilling.
