Yesterday Governor Charlie Crist declared October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Members of the Florida Coalition Against Domestic Violence say Crist has helped change how the state addresses the issue. Lynn Hatter reports.

Florida’s senior U.S. Senator – Democrat Bill Nelson - addressed the nation’s financial bailout bill during a visit to Tallahassee yesterday, prior to the House voting it down. The Senator said the bill would’ve meant the United States would have had to borrow the money from foreign nations like China and Japan. Lynn Hatter reports.
