Tourism Officials on Offshore Drilling
Tourism is Florida’s biggest industry, attracting millions of visitors to its beaches. That’s one of the main reasons the state’s tourism industry has long been opposed to offshore drilling…But not any more. Emission Standards
Part of Governor Charlie Crist’s bold air pollution goal was to copy California’s stricter standards to reduce the amount of Carbon dioxide released into the atmosphere. Florida’s Environmental Regulation commission will vote on those standards next week, and both sides are gearing up for the debate. Trimmel Gomes reports.
