Stamp Out Hunger

Postal
patrons around the country this Saturday left food by their mailboxes –
as part of the annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive. Nationally, last
year 70 million pounds of food was collected.  And the numbers are
looking good this year.  In Lee County 305 thousand pounds of food was
collected by letter carriers and volunteers.  Other volunteers
delivered it to the Harry Chapin Food Banks in Ft. Myers.    WGCU’s
Valerie Alker reports.
