Farmer’s Almanac Editor Janice Stillwell
South Florida has been experiencing record breaking low temperatures for this time of year. The abrupt change from summer-like conditions to chilling cold caught many people by surprise. But readers of the Old Farmer’s Almanac possibly took their socks out of mothballs early. The Almanac’s 2009 edition – which came out a couple months ago - calls for a particularly cold winter. The Almanac’s Editor, Janice Stillwell, told WGCU’s Valerie Alker its weather forecasts define the publication which has been around since 1792.
