Senator Joe Biden in Fort Myers
Democratic Vice Presidential candidate and U-S Senator Joe Biden of Delaware spent Wednesday campaigning on Florida’s west coast. He spoke with voters in Fort Myers about how he feels and Obama-Biden administration would change the Washington works, and bring change to people’s lives. WGCU’s Amy Tardif reports.

Governor Crist in St. Paul?
Governor Charlie Crist was talked-up as a potential V-P pick for Republican Senator John McCain, but all that ended when McCain chose Alaska Governor Sarah Palin instead. Governor Crist is still scheduled to appear at the convention, but with all several approaching tropical systems he’s expected to skip the celebration in St. Paul. Trimmel Gomes reports.

Florida’s Delegates
Florida’s top Democratic and Republican officials are confident their delegations will be seated in full at the parties’ presidential nominating conventions later this summer. The delegate question has been the subject of major debate this year, as both national parties punished Florida for holding its presidential primary too early. Judith Smelser reports.

Building the Democratic Party Platform
A group of Barack Obama supporters met over the weekend in Tallahassee to discuss ideas to be forwarded to the presumptive Democratic nominee’s campaign. As James Call reports it was one of more than a thousand such meetings held around the country to generate ideas for the national platform committee to consider.
