Offshore Drilling Debate

Governor Charlie Crist has dropped his support for a federal moratorium on offshore oil drilling. He endorsed a proposal on Tuesday from Republican Presidential candidate John McCain that would let states decide for themselves whether to drill for oil and gas near their own coastlines. Autism Legislation

Lieutenant Governor Jeff Kottkamp was at Florida Gulf Coast University’s College of Education Tuesday, touting Governor Charlie Crist’s signing of legislation mandating insurance coverage for autism treatment.
