Minority Sex Trafficking

Florida
Gulf Coast University partnered with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office
today/Thursday to spread awareness of the domestic human trafficking of

Seat Belt Law

five new state laws go into effect this week in Florida, including a
tightening of the state’s seat belt law.  WGCU’s John Davis reports.

Seat Belts Primary Violation

As of July 1st drivers in Florida who are not wearing their seatbelts can be stopped and ticketed.  It’s estimated the new law will save about 124 lives a year.  WGCU’s Valerie Alker reports.
