A statewide crackdown is making sure alcoholic beverages aren’t getting into the hands of people under the age of 21.  The latest effort was called “Operation Boutonniere Bust.”  Rachelle Grossman was granted special permission to ride along with undercover agents to see first-hand if local stores were selling booze to minors.

Local law enforcement officials are ramping up efforts to stop impaired boaters this weekend as part of a national effort called “Operation Dry Water.”  WGCU’s John Davis reports.

With help from a national organization and Edison State College, officials hope to find answers that have eluded them for the past two decades.
