Bee Experiment
A class of Florida Gulf Coast University students is conducting a series of outdoor experiments later this morning at the Bonita Springs Nature Place…they’ll be trying to determine whether honey bees can count, and what exactly they see when buzzing past a bright RED flower. Assistant professor of animal behavior at FGCU Billy Gunnels spoke with WGCU’s Mike Kiniry about the experiment.

Constitution Day at FGCU
In 2004 congress designated September 17th
as Constitution Day – the same day as Citizenship Day. They mandated
that all federally funded schools teach something about the
constitution on that day. Many schools pass out small copies of the
constitution. But, at Florida Gulf Coast University a group of
students and professors decided to take it a little farther. WGCU’s
Luis Hernandez has this report.
