Car sharing is coming to Florida Gulf Coast University. The school has partnered with WeCar by Enterprise – the car rental agency -- to offer two cars to be rented by the hour or day beginning next month.

Bower School of Music

Students returning for fall classes at Florida Gulf Coast University today will have a new building on campus.  The Bower School of Music’s new facility combines top of the line acoustics, performance space, and equipment.  As WGCU’s John Davis reports, the new building reflects the music program’s explosive growth in recent years.

FGCU Considers Smoking Ban

Florida Gulf Coast University is considering going smoke free. The Faculty Senate will vote on a resolution Friday to ban smoking. WGCU’s Valerie Alker hung out yesterday near one of the several “smoking stations” set up on campus and talked to some students who smoke.
