Governor Crist on Environmental Spending

Speaking in Naples on Friday Governor Charlie Crist said he’ll ask state lawmakers to put more money for the environment in next year’s budget.  WGCU’s Luis Hernandez reports.

Picayune Strand Restoration Underway

Environmental Planning Center

Critical Habitat

The
Sierra Club announced Thursday that it’s joining the Conservancy of
Southwest Florida in petitioning the federal government to impose
protections on critical habitat for the endangered Florida Panther.

Botanical Garden Reopens
