Thoughts on Rising Gas Prices

Last week “Triple A” reported the price of gasoline rose an average 39-percent over last years average of $2.90 in Lee County. Needless to say, many southwest Floridians are looking for ways to conserve. Barack Obama on Offshore Drilling

Presumptive Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama says he pledges to keep the moratorium on offshore drilling if elected President. As Alyssa Zamora reports, Senator Obama held a press conference on Friday in Jacksonville, in which he criticized Senator John McCain's reversal on the issue.

Offshore Drilling Debate

Governor Charlie Crist has dropped his support for a federal moratorium on offshore oil drilling. He endorsed a proposal on Tuesday from Republican Presidential candidate John McCain that would let states decide for themselves whether to drill for oil and gas near their own coastlines.
