A new Quinnipiac University poll shows Democratic Presidential Candidate - Senator Barack Obama – is leading Senator John McCain in three swing states, including Florida. Alyssa Zamora reports.

October 6th is the last day to register to vote for the November 4th general election. But for ex-felons entitled to have their rights restored, the impact of budget cuts on the Florida Parole Commission may mean they’ll miss the deadline. Margie Menzel reports.

The Florida Parole Commission says it’s overwhelmed with restoration of rights cases. Now it has established a Web site where ex-offenders can check to see if they’ll be able to vote in November’s presidential election. Margie Menzel reports.
