One Laptop Per Child in Immokalee
When a group of Collier County students return to class on Tuesday – they’ll have some neat stories to share about how they spent their summer vacation. In fact they’ll be able to show and tell what that they’ve done using computer animated graphics they created themselves. WGCU’s Valerie Alker prepared this report on the One Laptop Per Child program that was launched this summer in Immokalee.

Zero Tolerance Policy Under Scrutiny
Some state officials say they’re fed up with the way Florida’s public schools are applying the so-called Zero Tolerance Policy – and they’re looking for ways to fix it…including possible new legislation that deals directly with the flaws and unintended consequences of the policy.
