Sarasota Awarded Revitalization Grants

City of Sarasota and Sarasota County will be awarded 23 million dollars
in federal funds for neighborhood revitalization projects in the

FGCU Buckingham Site

Florida
Gulf Coast University‘s board of trustees voted unanimously Tuesday to
expand its campus by adding a 500 acre parcel of land in Buckingham in

Census Jobs

The 2010 U.S. Census will bring thousands of temporary jobs to Southwest Florida.   Although the bulk of the work won’t begin until next spring, Census officials say the time for job seekers to act is now.  WGCU’s John Davis reports.
