Officials from the Obama Administration along with state environmental leaders joined a groundbreaking ceremony Thursday for the Picayune Strand Restoration Project in Collier County. WGCU’s John Davis was there and has this report.

Gulf Coast University hosted a ceremony Tuesday recognizing students,
faculty and staff who have served in the armed forces.  WGCU’s John

The Transportation Security Administration at Southwest Florida International Airport held a ceremony to remember September 11th, 2001 Friday. The agency was created in November 2001 in the wake of 9/11. WGCU’s Amy Tardif was at the remembrance and has this report.
