Linda Fasulo Book Review - Black Widow

Art of the Olympians goes to China

The world’s attention turns towards Beijing this month for the summer Olympic Games. Art of the Olympians, based in Fort Myers, travels to Beijing as well with an exhibit of artwork by Olympic athletes to revive this lost ideal of the ancient Olympic Games. WGCU’s John Davis has the story.

Remembering Robert Rauschenberg

Friends and admirers of the late Robert Rauscheneberg will come together for a celebration of his life Saturday at the Bob Rauschenberg at Edison College in Ft. Myers. The tribute features photographs of the late artist – and selections from his “Ruminations” print series. Ron Bishop is the gallery director and knew Rauschenberg, who passed away last month at his home on Captiva, for many years. He spoke to WGCU’s Valerie Alker…
