travelers concerned with leaving their pets behind may soon be able to

Clunkers = Scrap Metal

The
federal Cash for Clunkers program ended Monday creating a boon of sorts
for auto salvagers.  The program requires dealerships to destroy the
engines of junked cars, but some salvagers say engine parts are the
most lucrative for them.  WGCU’s John Davis followed some clunker
trade-ins to a Fort Myers scrap yard where the car allowance rebate
system has spawned a brisk business.
