Art of the Olympians goes to China

The world’s attention turns towards Beijing this month for the summer Olympic Games. Art of the Olympians, based in Fort Myers, travels to Beijing as well with an exhibit of artwork by Olympic athletes to revive this lost ideal of the ancient Olympic Games. WGCU’s John Davis has the story.

Chipotle Targeted for Higher Wages

The Coalition of Immokalee Workers now has a new batch of companies in its sites to target for higher wages. The group that has fought to increase wages for tomato workers is gearing up for another set of campaigns including one in Denver this week. WGCU’s Luis Hernandez has this report.

Priest Lawsuit

A catholic priest who worked at Bishop Verot High School in Ft. Myers is being sued for alleged sex abuse when he worked with youth in Delaware. No complaints have been lodged him locally. WGCU’s Valerie Alker reports.
